Our Story
It’s not just a dessert, it’s an art. The art of flavor.
Uptown Bakes is the creation of pastry chef and artist, Azarah Rodriguez. Her passion for baking and culinary arts ignited when she was a child learning to bake family recipes in her grandmother's kitchen. In 2017, Azarah decided to combine her passion for baking with her love for art and launched her custom bakery, Uptown Bakes in Houston, Texas. She has since moved and is now located in Boston, Massachusetts.
